Community Pharmacy North East London (North East London Local Pharmaceutical Committee) represents NHS Community Pharmacy owners across Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest and City and Hackney. There are a number of matters we can offer support with, including local information, services and contract applications.

New Pharmacy Contractor FAQs

How do I receive communications from CPNEL?
CPNEL send various communications out regularly to keep our contractors up to date:

  • WhatsApp: CPNEL host a broadcast only WhatsApp group to keep contractors up to date. If you wish to join this group, please text 07902 570955 with your name and pharmacy fcode.
  • Emails: Your shared NHS Email address (Pharmacy.ODScode@nhs.net) will be added to our mailing list. If you are not receiving emails from us, please inform office@cpnel.org
  • Newsletters: CPNEL send a weekly update newsletter. This should go directly to your shared NHS Mail account but are also published online here.

 

How do I setup a Shared NHS Email for my Pharmacy?
To setup an NHS Shared Email, register at the community pharmacy NHSmail registration portal. If you require support in registering, please contact pharmacyadmin@nhs.net.

Where can I get support with Smartcards?
For support with registering a new smart card, or for any queries relating to Smartcards, please contact the NEL Smartcard Registration Authority

 

How do I arrange Clinical Waste Collection?

How can I report destruction of Controlled Drugs?

Where can I find out more information on my Primary Care Network (PCN)?

How do I update my NHS Pharmacy Profile
As of June 2022, the NHS Profile Manager is used to update both the NHS Website Profile, and the Directory of Services (DoS) profile.

How do I contact the London DOS?

Who is my Local NHS Team?
This area comes under the NELICB, the Team at NHS North East London also lie within the NELICB.
